The
boxer has been used in police work, as a watchdog and
bodyguard, and as a guide for the blind. Above all,
however, it is prized as an amiable and lively companion.
It is a tolerant, playful dog, but somewhat suspicious
of stranger. It likes exercise and must be taken for
long walks often
