PERSONALITY

He
is an agile, swift moving, elegant dog, with a graceful
head and neck. He has been selected over many decades
to act as both herder and guard, so he is not instantly
friendly to everyone.

USES

This
breed is a hardy dog, resistant to bad weather and adaptable
to all sorts of work. It is first and foremost an excellent
sheepdog, but it has shown itself to be fine guard dog
in open areas. Currently this dog is being trained and
used as a bomb detecting dog and police dog
